What are the methods of machining?

  The main methods of machining are: turning, milling, wrapping, and grinding. The traditional machining methods mainly include: car, clamp, milling, planing, inserting, grinding, drilling, boring, punching, sawing and the like. There are also electroplating, casting, wire cutting, forging, electrocorrosion, powder processing and so on.

1. Turning: It is mainly used to machine shafts or rotary parts, and it can be turned into a proper shape by turning the turning tool;

2. Milling: mainly machining plane, or bevel, removing the plane through the milling cutter;

3. Planing: mainly processing planes or curved surfaces, removing planes or curved surfaces by planing knives;

4. Grinding: Mainly through the grinding wheel to grind the plane, the outer circle and the inner circle to achieve the surface roughness;

5. Drilling: mainly through the drill bit to drill holes for processing;

6. Boring: The hole is mainly boring by a file or a blade.

7. Punching: mainly through stamping and stamping;

8. Saw: Mainly cut by sawing machine.

If the product is large in volume, it is recommended to use the lathe boring, which is fast and accurate. Because it is a clear angle, so the sickle should pay attention to the front and clear the corner;

If the product is small in size, it is milled with a milling cutter but the speed is slower. Machining is the process of changing the size or performance of a workpiece with a processing machine. According to the temperature state of the workpiece being processed, it is divided into cold working and hot working. Generally processed at room temperature, and does not cause chemical or physical phase changes of the workpiece, called cold processing. Generally, processing at a temperature higher or lower than the normal temperature causes a chemical or physical phase change of the workpiece, which is called thermal processing. Cold machining can be divided into machining and press machining according to the difference in processing methods. Hot processing is commonly used for heat treatment, forging, casting and welding.
